What is XRF Technology
X-ray Fluorescence (XRF) is a non-destructive analytical method used to determine the precise elemental composition of materials. When a sample is exposed to X-rays, each element present responds by emitting its own unique fluorescent signal. By measuring the energy and intensity of these signals, the analyser accurately calculates the percentage of every element in the material — with minimal sample preparation and results delivered in seconds.
Due to its speed, accuracy, and non-destructive nature, XRF is widely regarded as one of the most reliable methods for elemental analysis across science and industry.
Why XRF
X‑ray Fluorescence (XRF) is a highly reliable method for determining the elemental composition of precious‑metal alloys such as Gold, Silver, and Platinum.
